Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated, results-driven Business Development & Appointment Setting Specialist to drive our outbound lead generation and pipeline growth. In this role, you will be responsible for identifying target accounts, executing strategic outbound outreach, and securing high-value meetings for our senior sales team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Outbound Prospecting & Lead Generation
- Execute high-volume outbound campaigns using a multi-channel approach, including cold calling, personalized email sequences, and LinkedIn outreach.
- Target C-level executives, directors, and key decision-makers across mid-market and enterprise accounts.
- Educate prospects on the company’s value proposition to uncover operational pain points, challenges, and business needs.
- Appointment Setting & Pipeline Management
- Qualify incoming and self-sourced leads strictly against corporate criteria to establish Marketing Qualified Leads (MQLs) and Sales Qualified Leads (SQLs).
- Successfully schedule and coordinate product demonstrations and strategic discovery meetings for the senior sales team.
- Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders to optimize lead conversion rates and accelerate pipeline movement.
- CRM Management & Reporting
- Maintain meticulous accuracy in the CRM system by logging all activities, detailing discovery notes, and managing deal stages.
- Generate and present regular performance metrics, market insights, and pipeline status reports to leadership.
Requirements:
- Experience: 3+ years of proven success in B2B sales development, appointment setting, or cold calling roles (experience working with Australian markets is highly regarded).
- Communication: Exceptional verbal and written English communication skills; ability to easily navigate conversations with senior leadership and C-level executives.
- Methodology: Familiarity with consultative selling techniques and structured discovery frameworks.
- Tools: Proficiency in CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and sales engagement platforms.
- Work Setup: Must have a reliable high-speed internet connection and a quiet, professional remote workspace suitable for high-volume calling.
